Rollo Sichim: The Rolling Art Project 

'' The days of Coronavirus, when interaction is limited and oftentimes forbidden, have affected artists’ abilities to derive inspiration from the outside world. The Rollo project was created with the goal of sparking creativity, interaction, and creation in artists of all backgrounds, and provide them with a stage to showcase their work during these times of social distancing. The project is composed of art “chains”, each beginning with a word followed by 10 works from different creators. The title word is given to the first creator in the chain, who must then create an artwork responding to, or interacting with that word within 24 hours. Their creation is then passed on to the next creator. Artists are allowed to create through any medium they choose to. They do not know who their predecessor is, nor do they know the title word of their chain. They must only respond to the work they receive. In turn, the new artwork they create is rolled on, thus linking a chain of interacting works. The artists’ names are revealed only once the chains are published in full. And here they are before you.
